I honestly believe he was a good man. <BR/><BR/>He also kind of shows that genuinely good men don't do so well with running countries, which is a little depressing, but maybe one day we'l live in a world where they do. <BR/><BR/>He never bowed down to the Israeli government either, although he was always respectful about it. <BR/><BR/>If Carter had only gotten a second term, I think he could have made a big difference in the world. <BR/><BR/>The world has had plenty of negative things to say about America (I guess that's a downside of being powerful), but to me, Jimmy Carter represented the things that are good about the US. <BR/><BR/>Nice to see him being remembered fondly. <BR/><BR/>Hugs<BR/>Anna xxxAnna Russellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01950324339154028297noreply@blogger.com
